Thalapathy’s Jilla released with Thala Ajith’s Veeram. This was happened after long time. Last Vijay and Ajith movies were released together on Pongal 2007.

Mohan Lal did an important role with Vijay. The first day Kerala Gross was a record 2.65 Cr. But overall the movie ends with an AVG at the box office. The opening was bigger than Veeram but finally both the movies were same. The Total gross is around 80 Cr and the Net 70+ Cr.

But the Telugu Version of this movie was released in 2015. This was released by the producer R.B Chowdry along with two Telugu producers. The theatrical rights sold for 1.8 Cr only but the Movie collected around 5Cr. It is the first clean Hit for Vijay in Telugu.

Total WW Gross is Around 85 Cr.
